SplendidCRM Offers Comprehensive, Easy-To-Use Open-Source CRM Solution To Enterprise System Integrators

Enterprise-Class Platform Leverages the Design of SugarCRM; Free-Runtime And Free-Hosting Licenses Included, with Pricing Based on Integrator’s Internal Users

RALEIGH, NC (March 16, 2007) – SplendidCRM Software, Inc., a pioneering provider of Microsoft-centric Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions for open-source use, today announced it is making its flagship platform available to enterprise software system integrators under a highly affordable licensing arrangement. The plan, known as the Free-Runtime and Free-Hosting License, computes fees based only on those persons using and/or developing the application at the integration company, allowing the integrator to profit from a potentially unlimited number of end users.

SplendidCRM, unveiled in 2005, is a highly competitive, open-source CRM application that builds on the design of SugarCRM, the number one product in the field. Yet SplendidCRM adds value to the equation through its Microsoft-centric design philosophy that leverages a pure Microsoft technology stack (Windows, IIS, SQL Server, C# and ASP.NET).

SplendidCRM’s license to system integrators includes two distribution methods: a runtime license, enabling integrators to sell the application via CD or download; and a hosted, on-demand license employing the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model.

“CRM has become a platform application for companies and organizations of virtually all sizes. Our product allows providers of enterprise applications to build on this platform under remarkably affordable terms,” noted Paul Rony, president of SplendidCRM. “For integrators seeking to provide Software-as-a-Service, or to compete effectively in a crowded category, SplendidCRM is an exceptional opportunity.”

“SplendidCRM provided our company with the open-source CRM package that could be easily modified to meet our customer needs. The standard .NET architecture allowed us to integrate our product line which includes multi-channel campaign management and Oracle’s Call Center Anywhere virtual contact center and predictive dialer,” said Roman Schepis, Chief Technical Officer at Promero, Inc., an on-demand call center service provider that has incorporated SplendidCRM into its basic offering.

Complete Solution

SplendidCRM’s Microsoft-centric, open-source application gives companies everything they need to drive account relationships, contact management, case and project management, lead tracking, team activities and tasks, and much more. Like SugarCRM, SplendidCRM supports marketing, sales and customer support, and includes tools for team collaboration, reporting and administrative/platform management.

“We selected SplendidCRM because we needed a full-featured CRM/SFA system that allowed us to stay on our Microsoft ASP.NET platform and easily integrate with our member systems,” noted Margot Dorfman, Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce. “SplendidCRM allows us to keep our whole system working together and allows us to use the information we have on our members intelligently, for a fraction of the cost of competing systems.”

“SplendidCRM’s easy to use interfaces, features and functionality made the implementation simple and friendly,” added Marc D. Wolfson, National Sales Director for Promero, Inc. “The reporting features make opportunities easy to track and turn into sales and dollars for our firm.”

SplendidCRM’s strength in the Microsoft environment allows it to leverage the full menu of Microsoft tools, technologies and best practices. To this base, SplendidCRM adds powerful capabilities that enable it to function well in a wide variety of business environments; SplendidCRM Professional, for example, the premium version of the product, is internationalized to support worldwide time zones and localized to support virtually any language.

Basic, Pro Editions

SplendidCRM Open-Source and SplendidCRM Professional have identical features, but the Professional version includes the SQL source code which is typically needed when integrating. Also included in the Professional version is the source code for the SplendidCRM Plug-in for Outlook 2003. The Outlook 2003 plug-in enhances the Outlook experience by allowing users to create contacts and archive email related to a lead, account or opportunity; synchronize contacts; and synchronize their Outlook calendar.
