How to remove all the previous rendered page?
Posted: 24 Jun 08 8:04 AM
I am doing some modifications to the source code and the sql schema. One thing that has been nagging me for some time is the cached pre-rendered page.
For example, I modify the terminologies in Chinese and then import the updated sql script into the sql server, to see the accurate page which is responsed to the new sql script I have to use the system function to reload every page or hit CTRL+F5.
Sometimes I try to change the theme, for example from sugar to sugar2006, I also have to reload every page to see the accurate page.
Is there any way to remove the cached data by deleting some file on server or through some config modification or any way that is one time effective and not through reload every page?
I just use another computer to connect to the server, instead of surffing on the server which I usually do. It seems that the cache is stored on client machine. Well, I will try to modify the http (or html) header to expire the content. I will report it works or not.
When I open the IIS Management Console, I find the content expiration is enable and content expires immediately. After some investment, I find the internet explorer works quite well if I connect from the computer other than the server itself. I don't know why, but since I find some way to avoid the problem I think it would be ok now. I will use other computer to test the splendidcrm to avoid the cached page problem.
Thank you for any further information.

Is the problem a browser cache issue or an application cache issue? Anytime you modify the database directly, you need to reload the SplendidCRM data using the Reload link in the Admin area.
