We are probably a long way away from having a module builder.  The biggest hurdle is that SplendidCRM relies upon stored procedures and views in the database.  Any module builder would need to create them as part of the building process.

/me chuckles

I was bothering the nice folks at Splendid about this too - but as was pointed out to me building new modules is pretty easy really - just cut and paste an existing module that works in a similar way and *hack*. Creating something like the sugar module builder is alot of hard work and only really directly benefits the developer, who in theory shouldn't need it... Working on features that directly benefit the end-user would seem to me to be a better use of resources, depends on your viewpoint. Mine is to make a simple buying decision from the client perspective - also building modules and stuff is where the developer typically adds value to their client's solution ( and earns money in the process ) so is a module builder a nice to have or a must have? Just my 2 cents
