The technical answer is that we are expecting to create a report template and generate the PDF using the ReportViewer, but we have been too busy on other projects to get around to it.

We will be adding the ability to print PDF invoices in 1.5.  We are expecting to release a beta next week.

We are leveraging the existing Report Viewer to generate PDF.  The trick is to create your invoice using the Microsoft Report Designer and then import it.  You can even embed images.

Hi,

We are in final decision stage on which CRM solution to go for between SplendidCRM and vTiger. While we would definitely favor SplendidCRM, not least because we are a MS ISV ourselves, we tend to lean to vTiger in painfull absence of easy/integrated printing capabilities to generate any decent document like quotes, sales orders and even invoices to send to our prospects or customers.

Last thread on topic was published on Christmas Eve, 2 months back. Has a beta PDF Print been released and/or progressed towards final release.

As per the trick, it may work fine with us but as we are time constrained to issue our first documents, we have little time to spend developping templates. Any ready to use template or hint on where to find easily adaptable templates would do it.

Thanks a lot,

Jean-Cédric.
