Our Professional production includes a free runtime and free hosting license that grants you the rights to sell your own version.  You are required to put the copyright notices at the bottom of every page.  Another requirement is that you make sure to distribute the SQL code in encrypted form.  This is a non-issue if you are providing hosting services, but it is an issue of you are distributing an EXE.  The issue is small because we provide you with a utility to encrypt the SQL code.  If you would like to read the license, please email our support staff.

We also suggest that you not derive your code from any page that says "The Original Code is: SugarCRM Open Source".  Any code that is your own, you can retain the copyright of.  This means that you do not need to give it back.  Although this sounds a bit contrary to the open-source movement, our goal is to encourage our partners to create something uniquely their own.  We want you to be able to create a sustainable business, built around the SplendidCRM platform.
