I'm using Version 4.5.0 Build 2.1.3074.33397

Trying to send an email but the SEND button is greyed out, I've setup email settings, does this app not send emails ?

You need to configure the Email Settings in the admin area and you need to make sure that each user has a return email address in their My Account area.
