My First Installation

Hi,

I install the SplendidCRM_1.3.2537.41977_Final.exe, i was able to successfully install it in my windowx xp machine. But when i run it, the first screen which is login.aspx appears to have only a button and its text is users.LBL_LOGIN_BUTTON_LABEL.

Their is no textfield for the username and password.

Am I missing something?

Please help me

The error you are seeing suggests that the connection to the database failed.  Navigate to the SystemCheck.aspx file to see what the problem is.

Hi,

I dont know which part i would check. Its my first time to browse the code.
My database is a SQL Server 2005. I have a instance of this server as SQL2005. so, if i will connect to this database i will used this connection:
Data Source=citdev009\sql2005;Initial Catalog=C:\PROGRAM FILES\SPLENDIDCRM SOFTWARE\SPLENDIDCRM_DATA.MDF
The citdev009 is the name of my machine.

Please help how would i change the connection in the web.config or somewhere else.

I can connect to the database using the connection i just wrote in the visual studio 2005 in server explorer.

Please help

If you do not use SQL authentication, then you must impersonate a valid user in Web.config.  The SplendidCRM Configuration Wizard can do this for you, just make sure to check the impersonate box and specify a valid login.
