When connected and on the Accounts tab, did you select all records, or at least the desired record, and clicked the Cache Selected button? You should see each cached record in the Splendid Storage popup. Only records in the Splendid Storage popup will be available offline.

I wonder if the issue is that you are running out of memory in the web browser. Most browsers have a 5M limit. Have you tried looking at the Splendid Storage popup to see what is cached?
