Yes.  In the Admin area under Manage Terminology.  You can search the Display Name field for support and see all the terms.  More specifically, the module names used in the tabs is in the list named moduleList.

You can add or remove fields from the Accounts Search by editing the EditView layouts for Accounts.SearchBasic and Accounts.SearchAdvanced.

I do not believe there is a way to attach a document to an email within the CRM, other than downloading the document, then uploading it as an attachment to the email record.

The error suggests that there is a problem with the Accounts.ListView layout.  Have any changes been made?  If so, the first thing I would suggest is that you undo or remove the changes.  Another option is to use the Restore Defaults option in that area.

It sounds like you hit the key points.  Common problems in this area include not enabling the Google Sync in the scheduler or not marking a Contact to be synchronized.  Have you checked the SplendidCRM System Log or System Sync Log for errors?
