In general, we don't import all emails for each user.  We generally recommend that each user manually select records to be imported, either by using our plugin, our addin or in the drop folders in our Exchange Sync service.  That way personal emails do not get into the CRM.

Yes, but it is a manual process.  Our Professional Edition includes a Module Builder that automates some of this.  To be fair, our Module Builder does not replace a developer, but it does get you started much faster.

You have all the source code for the Community Edition, so you can do exactly what we did to integrate with Asterisk.  However, I would note that we developed the code as an integrated product so that call events can be sent to the browser out-of-band.  You can't do that just using the ...

You should be able to find your custom field in the list.  It may be at the bottom. Also, I would recommend that you use the current version and our new layout editor.
