We have been using Splendid Outlook Plug-in 1.4 version source. After installing, we are not able to see SplendidCRM in Outlook 2003. We found that manifest file is missing in the installed files. Manually, we added manifest file in SplendidCRM Plug-in for Outlook project output and also included in Setup project . But, when we compiled and installed plug-in, still SplendidCRM is missing in Outlook 2003. We found that, manifest file is different from the one which is installed using SplendidCRM_Plug-in_for_Outlook_1.4.2727.3709_Final.exe. Please suggest how to solve this manifest file issue.

The most common problem that our users experience with the plug-in is that Outlook must be run once using "Run as Administrator" in order for Outlook to get past some security issues and complete the install. Did you try that?
Yes, we did that. Still, we did not find Splendid menu in Outlook.
It is working fine when we install using the setup exe (SplendidCRM_Plug-in_for_Outlook_1.4.2727.3709_Final.exe) downloaded from Splendid. We have changed business logic in the source and compiled. But, it is not working with our version.
We are working on Windows-XP, SP2, VS 2008, Outlook 2003.
