When I try to use the Outlook Client to link email to a case I get an error "Relationship between Cases and Email is not defined". I haven't looked too much at the web services yet. However I did notice in the database there is a realationship table where I attempted to add a realtationship for it but that didn't seem to do it. Before I dive in to it I wanted to see if there was any guidance to get that working.
To recreate the error send an email to Splendid and then create a case with it, then try to link the email to the case.
This is something that must be fixed in the SplendidCRM application. The SetRelationship function in soap.asmx.cs needs to include the Cases-to-Emails relationship. It is the same as the already defined Emails-to-Cases relationship, but it must be defined. We have just fixed this in Vault, so you can just fetch the latest version and rebuild your project.
I use the Vault 3.1.9 internally and I think you guys are on a newer one. We're a sourcegear partner so already know that the software is not really backwards compatiable. Are there any other means to get that file?
