SplendidCRM Connection Error Outlook 2003

 Hello-

I have a problem with SpledidCRM outlook 2003 client in that while trying to connect to the server  i get this error:

"Boolean connect (Boolean)
 Line 794.  Failed to connect"

our sugarCRM site is a secure site (https://) but i don't think this is a problem since the plugin is working for other users.

Plug in installed on
Windows XP SP2
Office/Outlook 2003 SP2

Plug in: SplendidCRM_Plug-in_for_Outlook_1.3.2542.37671_Final

Any tips/help will be greatly appreciated.

Please download the latest version of our Plug-in.  We have fixed a number connection issues in the current release.

Thanks for the tip support! although this worked i dont think that was the problem either. We are using LDAP for authentication and for some reason the plug-in required the password to be reset and would not allow us to use the existing password. Thanks!

Hi all,

I have just installed SplendidCRM and the outlook 2003 plug-in and get the following error whn trying to connect:

Boolean Connect() line 425.
The request failed with HTTP status 401: Access Denied

Any ideas?  I have a presentation scheduled for Friday morning to demo this to my company.

Access Denied means that the web server has not been configured to allow you access.  Are you running SugarCRM or SplendidCRM?
