The focus on 2.0 was on adding enterprise features such as auditing and campaign emails.  Seaching has been enhanced with customizable search dialogs, saved searches and the support of advanced search operators (<, <=, >, >= as well as AND, OR and NOT).  The new release now adds support for mobile browsers, including PocketPC and SmartPhone, and support for RTL languages (such as Arabic and Hebrew).  For the admin, the new release makes it easy internationalize by allowing the import of SugarCRM language packs directly from SugarForge.

Some end-user features that were added are Threaded Forums and the ability to reply and forward emails.  Mass Update now allows you to set the Team, if team management has been enabled, and the previous limit of only updating 200 records has been removed.

For the admin, we have allowed the editing of the shortcuts list and the DetailView relationships list.  These features give more control to the admin and the ability to simplify the UI.  The admin can now backup the SQL database and schedule the nightly backup using the new scheduler.

For the developer, we have leveraged the layout editor in order to create the search dialogs.  The big benefit to the developer is that we have removed 3 user controls per module.  While most companies would brag about how much their application has grown, we are pleased that we were able to remove close to 100 files from the project.
