My scheduler is also running - or at least it says that it runs every 5 minutes.  However, mails in the queue do not go out until I click on "send queued messages".  Even then, when I tried with another SMTP server (and accidentally entered the wrong parameters) those messages that were involved in that batch of "send queued messages" are now stuck in the outbox with send attempts 1 and In Process - True.  No matter how many times I click on "send queued messages" these messages go nowhere.

So, why do these messages get stuck in the queue?

And why do messages that are placed in the queue never go out on their own?

Any luck fixing this issue? I am able to get all of the schedulers to work except the Run Nightly Mass Email Campaigns, I can even get some custom ones to work.
