Did you use the project we provided to compile the app? What version of Visual Studio are you using?
There really should be no difference between the DLL that we created and the one you are creating, unless you changed the code yourself.
Are you referring to the Shortcuts on the left? Could the problem be that they have been hidden using the minimize icon? This is a cookie-based value so it will remember that it was hidden.
