I would like to ask if there any functionality for starting date and expiry date in SplendidCRM .when the customer is ordering .
the fact : our business is based on service (have start date and expiry date ) not product
(example : our customer can make order for web hosting space (specific service ) from 01/01/2006 to 15/02/2006
usually I make order with start date and expiry date
is there any functionality in splendidCRM that can assign start date & expiry date of service or is there any other alternative way you can advise ?
and is there any notification functionaly to notify the user that this service will be expired soon ?
Please note : I have seen contract but that doesn' work we have small amount of service

One of our customers had a similar need. Their solution was to create an entirely new Services module.

I'm not sure when or if we will create a Services module.
Adding a new module typically requires the Professional license. However, if all you need to do is add a start date and and end date to an order, then that you can do online. If you need the start date and end date to be on a line item, then you have a lot more work to do.
but professtional edition is only provide the source code of the database ?
do provide also add new module functionality ?
