SplendidCRM allows the use of Windows Authentication or its own internal authentication.  We recommend that customers use Windows Authentication to take advantage of the Windows Single sign-on feature.  Public sites, like our SplendidCRM demo site, cannot use Windows Authentication, so we use our own internal authentication.
