I have an issue with accounts not coming up when selecting who to send an email to. So as a first step, the account is selected in the email screen. Then when we go through to the To field and click select and search for an account name or first name or last name the contact does not appear. All contact details have been checked and have even tried using just part name searches. Is this a known issue? I have tried this for all my contacts and the same issue exists.
PS: If i do a part text search on account name, accounts do show up, but only 2 out of a list of 8 that have the same part text. i.e. the account names all start with 'pending account name' and i search for 'pend' and only 2 show up as opposed to all 8.
In general, you don't send emails to an Account, you send them to a Contact. When searching for an email, we only display Contacts if they have an email.
