Hello,
I have a "note" I created, and I attempted to assign it to a "task." When I click save, it takes me to the note summary page, but there is nothing listed in the "PARENT_TYPE" field. I tried to assign it to an opportunity, and it correctly added the opportunity to the "PARENT_TYPE" field. Then I tried to again assign it to the task, and again the "PARENT_TYPE" field was blank.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS I'm running Version 4.5.0 Build 2.0.2950.42250
I don't think that notes were intended to be assigned to a task. The bug is likely that Tasks appears in the Parent field.

Ok, what I would like to accomplish is to be able to attach relevant files to a given task... is there any other way to do this other than a note?
If not, I will have to extend the system to allow it to relate a note to a task, yes?
