Data field doesn't show new created custom field when data type is Date

When  I create custom field into order the data TYPE is DATE

and then going to field Layout and select grid view Layout -->select Orders.Lineitems --> press create --> select bound datacolumn and data label show the new created field BUT in DATA FIELD

The new created Field is NOT APPEARED

The Orders.LineItems cannot be customized online.  You must do so with manually in the ASP.NET code.
