Installing Splendid in a Hosted Environment

I want to install splendid in a hosted (shared) environement. I do have remote access to the box only ftp. Is there a manual install that I can load or run? Or other ideas on how to make it work...

It all depends on the environment.  Unless you are a SplendidCRM Professional user, your hosting provider will need to allow you to connect directly to the database, either by ODBC or a SQL Server port.

I use IHostasp and they have a ODBC and database manager that lets me setup a new database and manage it.

Then your best bet is to perform a Custom install of SplendidCRM locally, use the SplendidCRM Configuration Wizard to connect to the database at the hosting and populate it.   Then copy the web files to the hosted server.  You may need to correct the connection string in Web.config.
