Problem attaching database to sql2000
Posted: 28 Apr 08 4:06 AM

I am following the splendidcrm 2.0 deployment guide to use this on my existing sql2000 server. I can't seem to attach the database as every time i do i get the following error

error 602. Could not find row in sysindexes for database ID8, object ID1, index ID1. Run DBCC CHECKTABLE on sysindexes.

I can't do this as I can't mount the database so does anyone have any ideas?

Cheers

We no longer support attaching the MDF and LDF files to SQL Server 2000 as we have upgrade the core database files to the SQL Server 2005 format.  However, you should be able to install SplendidCRM into a clean SQL Server 2000 file database.  We need to update our documentation to relect this change.

Create a new database in SQL Server 2000.  Run the SplendidCRM Configuration Wizard and connect to the new database.  The Wizard will create all necessary SQL objects.  Just make sure that the SQL user you provide has permission to create tables, functions, views, procedures and triggers.
