WWF is complicated and it will take a while to implement.  We are hoping that the effort will be just as rewarding as our decision to use RDL as the foundation of our reports.

I am curious too about the plans for workflow in SplendidCRM.  I have a customer request to automate some customer tasks, and I would like to use SplendidCRM to keep the customer information.  Is this something that will be out in a 2.x version, or a 3.x version in a year or two, or is that known at this time?

We are making great progress with workflow.  Our plan is release it as 2.5 so that it will be a free upgrade to all our existing Professional customers.  We may include workflow in the open-source release.

We do not have an official release date as we prefer not to be rushed.  Still, it would be safe to say that we are a couple of months away from a production release.
