SplendidCRM - Developers for customization

Hello,

Hopefully it is safe to post this here... We are considering SplendidCRM and we would most definitely need to customize this to meet our needs.  So we are trying to determine if there are any partners or developers who have alreay worked a great deal with SplendidCRM that would be available for hire.  We are looking with someone who is extremely knowledgeable with the .NET C# technology and extremely knowledgeble with the SplendidCRM.  This person would need to do a fair amount of customization to fit our model.

Let me give a quick brief overview.

Most businesses that get a CRM/SFA tool usually is based on being a company with a sales team representing various products and possibly consisting of departments representing their own products. 

So how do we differ?

Lets first start by saying we are a Sales Center representing network marketing companies which offer business opportunities or other products.  Mainly network marketing companies are seeking us out to provide an options Sales Center function for their membership.

Here are the players:
  • The Sales Center: (that is us) which has sales associates who handle all aspects of closing sales.
  • The Network Marketing Company:  The Sales Center creates a partnership with this company.  Basically this Company offers a business opportunity or product(s).
  • The Members: These are the members of the Network Marketing Company.  They in turn can become a member of the Sales Center as an option.
What is needed:

Once one of the members decides to join the Sales Center we will provide them a full complement of sales services including sales associates to call their leads real time and do all of the follow up, auto responders, voice blasts, and so forth.

As a Sales Center we are looking for a CRM/SFA that is uniquely adjustd for our needs.  Our Sales Associates will log into the CRM/SFA and basically request leads when they are ready to take the next lead.  Their VIEW in the CRM/SFA is basically all leads that are directly assigned to them.  Each lead of course belongs to a member.  The sales associates cannot see any of the other leads already assigned to another sales associate.  They basically work the leads the recieve.  Of course we have sales managers that need to have a large view so he can see what each sales associate is doing as well as examining a specific member's account to assist with any problems.

Now we also want to provide a back office for each member that basically is the CRM/SFA.  They need to be able to sign in and of course ONLY see their leads.  They should never be able to see another member's leads.  We will want to offer various optional services such as allowing them to manage their own email campaings or voice blasts.  And of course we want them to have some standard tools like campaign management so they can become better marketers and and track how their marketing efforts are working.  We want to help teach them to be better internet marketers and better direct marketers.  When we do this they generate better qualified leads and in turn everyone benefits.

We also will be running our own campaigns managed by our sales center, because we will be offering lead generation services for our membership (optional) so we need to see how well our efforts are succeeding on a large level, but we want the membership to also see how the campaign is working on their level if they opted to be a part of one of our campaigns.

So as you can see we have a slightly different model than your typical company with their own sales or marketing team.  We are basically providing sales services, call center services, and marketing services for a membership base which creates a unique model for a CRM/SFA.

Hi Greg,

The deployment scenario you have described is an excellent fit for Splendid - through the use of groups, roles and access controls you can achieve what you have described largely out of the box - it is mainly a question of configuration and setup. If you need help with this I recommend that you contact Splendid themselves who provide consultancy services around their product. I have found them to be most responsive for our needs.

Note: If you are running a large distributed system you may want to consider upgrading to SQL Server 2005 SE as there is a 3gig cap on SQL Express instances.

Hi Greg, I am just wondering if you still looking for third party development. My company has stable resource and we started on the similar customization.
