Way to disable features?

Way to disable features?

Hi.

I am trying to figure out how to disable certain features. For instance I don't want cases and bug tracking and leaving these visible makes it more confusing. Is there a way to turn off certain functionality? Thanks.

You can hide tabs in the Admin area. In our next release, you will also be able to disable an entire module on the same Configure Tabs page. For now, you have to manually disable the desired records in the MODULES table. Just set MODULE_ENABLED = 0 for any module you want to disable.

Hi,

What does disabling the module do exactly? I disabled Bugs, for instance, and recompiled the site but I can still navigate to /Bugs and enter and manipulate bugs. Thanks.

When the module is disabled, the tab should not appear and all sub panels for that module across the entire system should not appear.

I have noticed this as well - if I disable bugs for example you can still create a bug from the shortcut menu...
